1. Who we are
Floral Mirror London Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16828962. Our registered office is Flat 1402 Judde House, Duke of Wellington Avenue, London, England, SE18 6DP.
This policy applies to our services offered through floralmirrorlondon.co.uk and floralmirrorlondon.com, including website design, development, SEO, parametric design, education and online pattern drafting.
2. Information we use
Depending on the service, we may use:
- contact and project information you send by email, including your name, organisation, brief, files and correspondence;
- measurements, style choices and pattern settings entered in the Pattern Studio;
- purchase and delivery information, including your email, product, price, payment status and download entitlement; and
- ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser, device, requested pages and security or performance logs.
Stripe handles full payment-card or wallet details. Floral Mirror London Ltd does not receive or store full card numbers.
3. Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver agreed studio work, generate patterns, take payment, provide PDF access and customer support, protect our websites, keep required business records and understand aggregate service performance.
Our main lawful bases under UK data-protection law are taking steps before or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the business. Where consent is required, we will ask for it and you may withdraw it.
4. How we handle information
For studio enquiries and our own business administration, Floral Mirror London Ltd is the data controller. Where a client asks us to process personal information only on its instructions while building, testing or maintaining the client's website, the client will normally be the controller and we will act as its processor under the relevant project agreement.
Measurements entered through our pattern tools are used for drafting and are not used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you. Our general website pages do not ask for measurements.
5. Storage and retention
We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal or accounting obligations. Pattern measurements normally remain in browser session storage. If you request email delivery, the private PDF is stored for up to 30 days, while download-access information may be retained for up to 45 days. Other business records are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
6. Providers, analytics and international transfers
We use service providers including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for the Digital Studio website; Vercel for Pattern Studio hosting, private PDF storage and aggregate analytics; Stripe for payments; and Resend and Microsoft Outlook for email. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal information.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, transfers are protected by an applicable UK adequacy decision, recognised data-privacy framework or approved contractual safeguard.
The Pattern Studio uses browser storage for settings and download access, plus cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregate usage and performance information. We do not use behavioural-advertising cookies. If this changes, we will provide any consent control required by law.
7. Security and your rights
We use proportionate safeguards such as access controls, encrypted connections, private storage, signed download links and limited retention. No online system is completely secure, so private recovery links should not be shared.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal information, or object to its use. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Email floralmirrorlondon@outlook.com to make a request.
You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Contact and updates
Our services are not directed at children under 18. Third-party links are governed by the third party's own privacy notice.
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal duties change. For privacy questions, contact Floral Mirror London Ltd at floralmirrorlondon@outlook.com or at the registered office shown above.
