1. About us and these terms
These terms apply to the services available through floralmirrorlondon.co.uk and floralmirrorlondon.com. All services are provided by Floral Mirror London Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16828962.
Website-use provisions apply when you browse either site. Purchasing provisions apply when you buy a digital pattern, and project provisions apply when you commission studio work. You must be at least 18, or use the service with a parent or guardian.
2. Our services
Our services may include website strategy, design, development, SEO, parametric design, architectural design, AI education, related consulting, and online tools that turn measurements into reviewable geometry and printable PDF patterns for womenswear, petwear and doll clothing. Website descriptions and case studies are general information, not a binding quotation, and digital pattern services do not include a physical product.
3. Studio projects
An enquiry does not create a contract. A studio project starts only when both parties accept a written proposal, statement of work or other agreement covering scope, deliverables, timing, fees, revisions, rights and support. That project document takes priority if it conflicts with these general terms.
Clients must provide accurate requirements, decisions, access, content and feedback on time; hold the necessary rights to supplied materials; check and approve deliverables before launch; and pay agreed invoices. Unless we expressly agree otherwise, the client remains responsible for its final legal, privacy, accessibility, tax and regulated-industry compliance.
4. Pattern purchases and delivery
The checkout shows the product, selected paid options, currency and total before payment. Stripe processes payment. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and download access is made available.
Unless the product page says otherwise, one payment unlocks two PDF exports for the same paid pattern and accessory selection. Remaining access expires 45 days after payment. An emailed private PDF link is normally valid for 30 days, and its server copy is deleted after up to 30 days. You should save the file before access expires.
5. Cancellation, refunds and technical problems
UK consumers generally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends only when supply begins after the consumer has expressly consented and acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right. If the checkout does not obtain both, the statutory right remains.
Nothing in these terms removes statutory remedies for digital content or services that are faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. An incorrect measurement, unsuitable fabric or change of mind after a valid immediate-supply waiver does not by itself make the pattern faulty. For a technical access problem, email floralmirrorlondon@outlook.com promptly so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
6. Measurements, fit and making
You are responsible for following the measuring guide, using the requested units and checking all inputs, options, scale tests, seam allowances and construction marks before cutting. Bodies, pets, dolls, fabrics and making methods vary, so a generated pattern cannot guarantee a particular fit or result in every case.
Use a toile or test garment before cutting valuable material. Our tools are not medical, safety-critical or industrial certification services. You are responsible for safe construction, suitable materials and the welfare of any person or animal wearing the finished item.
7. Intellectual property
Our websites, software, drafting engines, calculations, interfaces, brand and content belong to or are licensed to Floral Mirror London Ltd. Buying a generated PDF gives you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence for your own non-commercial making. You may print working copies for yourself, but may not share, resell, publish or use the file for commercial production, teaching or a pattern service without our prior written licence.
For studio projects, the accepted proposal will state what rights transfer or are licensed after full payment. Unless it says otherwise, we retain our pre-existing tools, reusable code, methods, templates and know-how. Client materials remain the client's property and are licensed to us only as needed to perform the project.
8. Acceptable use and availability
You must not break the law, infringe rights, upload harmful material, bypass payment or download controls, interfere with security, overload or scrape the service, reverse engineer protected systems except where law permits, or use our content to build a competing pattern-generation service.
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, secure, update or withdraw features, but will provide an appropriate remedy if we cannot supply a paid and unexpired entitlement. Third-party services and links operate under their own terms.
9. Responsibility and disputes
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statutory consumer rights. For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach or lack of reasonable care, but not loss caused by inaccurate inputs, ignored instructions or events outside our reasonable control.
For business use, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss or loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, and our total liability for the affected service is limited to the fees paid for that service in the previous 12 months.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory rights and local jurisdiction protections given by the law where they live. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
10. Privacy, changes and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these website-use terms, but the terms accepted for an existing purchase or project continue to govern it unless the law or both parties require a change.
